The Communiqué on the Extension of the Deadline for Joint Stock and Limited Liability Companies to Increase Their Capital to the New Minimum Amounts, published in the Official Gazette dated 17 October 2026 and numbered 33403, has extended the deadline for compliance with the new minimum capital requirements to 31 December 2027.

The minimum capital requirements remain TRY 250,000 for joint stock companies and TRY 50,000 for limited liability companies. For non-public joint stock companies adopting the registered capital system, the minimum initial capital requirement remains TRY 500,000.

We recommend that companies within scope plan their capital increases and registration procedures with the revised deadline in mind.
